Developed for demanding track use, RE26 is an excellent choice for Track Days, sprint racing, and endurance competition.

One of the key advantages of RE26 is its exceptional wear resistance. In certain vehicle applications, RE26 can deliver up to 50% longer pad life compared to R27 under comparable operating conditions.

The compound features a slightly lower coefficient of friction and a less aggressive initial bite than R27, providing smooth brake torque buildup, excellent modulation, and precise control at the limit.

Its stable friction characteristics ensure predictable braking performance lap after lap, while its rotor-friendly formulation promotes consistent transfer layer formation and helps minimize brake rotor wear.

DC FrictionLock™ — Advanced Mechanical Retention

Like R27, RE26 incorporates DC FrictionLock™, our proprietary mechanical friction material retention technology.

The system combines surface-distributed micro-hooks with deeply integrated wearable anchors, providing additional mechanical retention under extreme braking loads and repeated thermal cycling.
