DC BRAKES 2-piece Rotors Upgrade Kit 380x34 Front Pair Audi R8 MK2

DC BRAKES DC62042AL/R 2-piece rotors are a direct replacement for the front rotors on the Audi R8 MK2 2015+. These 2-piece rotors are fully froating. It has less weight than OEM brake rotors and it cuts unsprung and rotating mass.
The rotor ring is made of high carbon alloy cast iron to ensure it has optimal bite, high-temperature strength and thermal characteristics. It is heat-treated to release stress and avoid deformation and vibration. This process ensures the rotor is durable and operates at optimal performance.
Aluminum hats are CNC machined from lightweight high strength aerospace 6061-T6 grade. It black anodized for corrosion resistance. This material helps to safe some extra weight and makes assembled 2-piece rotor lighter.
Minimum thickess for rings used on this assembly is 32mm. Our recommendation is checking working suface after each track day/race for cracks. If crack leads to the edge of rotor ring - replace a rotor ring.
Floating rotor to hat system: H-bobbins.
DC62042A hats have holes for PCD 5x112mm. Kit includes spacers for brake calipers to move it from wheel center. It needs to install bigger brake disc.
